Our Environmental Commitment

It is our objective to reduce, recycle and reuse and to make our company and our industry as sustainable and environmentally forward-thinking as possible. We adhere with Provincial and government regulations:

• we are FSC certified www.fsc.org
• using true chemistry free thermal imaging CTP technology
• using vegetable/soy based or other nontoxic inks containing low levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
• minimize energy use in the print process and business operations
• when replacing computer equipment, we purchase Energy-Star compliant computers, monitors, and servers
• train employees on proper handling and use of inks, solvents and other chemicals to minimize waste and exposure
• recommend to utilize a proofing system that minimizes impact on the environment and is compatible with your manufacturing process
• establish and follow operating procedures to minimize make-ready and production waste
• we are careful to collect all plates and any paper waste that is produced is recycled
• establish proper management practices to ensure that no chemicals are improperly disposed
• work with our suppliers and vendors to be more environmentally conscious
• most importantly, we work with our clients to make them aware of products that can assist them to employ an environmentally-friendly approach to their printing needs. With suggesting a paper with a 30% PC level over a paper made with only virgin fibres will result in a 13% reduction in the amount of solid waste requiring disposal.
